My passion is working with people in the context of their emotional attachment styles in order to help them understand themselves and how they relate with others. Oftentimes, clients come to me with trauma and substance abuse issues. I work with clients to get to the root of their issues so that they can be happy and more fulfilled in their relationships.
I have been practicing therapy for almost 20 years. I graduated in 2004 from Loma Linda University in Southern California with a Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). After practicing in California for a few years, I moved back to my hometown of Coeur d’Alene.
I’ve spent more than 10 years working with clients who have alcohol or drug problems as well as providing intensive outpatient services for these clients. In 2015, I launched my own private practice of Restart Counseling with the goal of providing the best quality services that I can.
I hold clinical licenses as a Marriage and Family Therapist, both in the states of Idaho and California. I also hold an Advanced Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ACADC) certificate in the state of Idaho.
I am also an Idaho-approved supervisor. Additionally, I am trained in EMDR. I am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
